Trainer S J Snaith was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1, in that he failed to ensure that the registered colours of the owner were available for the horse WHISKY TANGO. In view of the performances from ARION EXPRESS, which was hanging out throughout, and BLACKBERRY WINTER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the fillies and submit a report. Approaching the 300m BOLD DIVA was switched out to continue her run. MANINGI INDABA (AUS) raced without blinkers and with cheek pieces. ARION EXPRESS was examined post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.BLACKBERRY WINTER was examined post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.WHISKY TANGO returned making an abnormal respiratory noise.
