THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TIME TO ROLL (L Hewitson) was stubborn to load. b) MACARA (D Dillon) was restless in the stalls. c) TANGO TIME (S Moodley) was restless in the stalls, removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was declared fit to race. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) NIRVANA GIRL (G Lerena) shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. b) Jockey S Moodley signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.3, in that as the rider of TANGO TIME, he failed to ride this filly out to the end of the race to the satisfaction of the Stewards thereby prejudicing his chances of obtaining 5th place. Accordingly, a penalty of R1750 was imposed. c) MACARA (D Dillon), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W Whitehead advised (DA). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) SHE'S A DREAM raced with a cornell collar. b) SUPREME WIN raced with alumites in front, unshod behind (advised 18.12.20/10h45). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
