KINGS SPEED had to be resaddled at the start.CONGO COMPAQ jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride.HALF AND HALF which was restless in the stalls, was slow losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride.In view of the performance from VIVANT, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding and submit a report.AZORES and BENICARLO raced green on the bend.Leaving the 1000m VIVANT had to steady off the heels of PINKERTON which brushed the inside running rail and shifted out sharply. Thereafter VIVANT commenced to over race and raced wide on the bend.At the 400m KINGS SPEED, which raced green shifted in sharply away from the crop and carried HALF AND HALF inwards.Leaving the 200m HURRICANE HARRY and TURN IT UP HARVEY brushed. VIVANT was examined post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
