THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 200m, Apprentice J Syster the rider of CHRISTOPHER ROBIN accidentally got his crop entangled in his left side rein which he dropped briefly when extricating his crop. b) JET START (*P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Peter advised (LB). When questioned regarding the improved performance of JET START, Assistant Trainer A Peter explained to the Board that this mare had benefitted from her run on the 12th of December following a rest, and it was also his opinion that she was better suited to the distance of today's race. Assistant Trainer Peter has undertaken where possible to race her over similar distances in future. c) CHRISTOPHER ROBIN (*J R Syster), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S J Gray advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) DAWN ASSAULT was ridden by Jockey C Zackey (declared 27 December 2020 at 08H52) who weighed out at 56kg.
