THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NOBLE PRINCESS (W Agrella) was restless in the stalls, unloaded and re-loaded. Trainer W G C Miller was advised to re-school this filly. b) GINGERSPATHTOGLORY (*T Gumede) fly-jumped and was slow into stride. c) IRISH PEARL (S Moodley) lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) A race review, pertaining to GINGERSPATHTOGLORY (*T Gumede) drawn in stall gate 12, was called into the start of this race. In this regard, it was established that GINGERSPATHTOGLORY (*T Gumede) had fly-jumped after the start was effected. In reviewing this incident, the Board was of the view that, GINGERSPATHTOGLORY (*T Gumede) was not impeded by a handler nor by a faulty starting stall and that, any distance lost by GINGERSPATHTOGLORY (*T Gumede) was as a result of this filly's own behaviour therefore, no further action was taken and GINGERSPATHTOGLORY (*T Gumede) was deemed to be a runner. b) TO THE MAX (R Danielson) shifted out away from the crop between the 300m and the 100m. c) Stable Employee T Naidoo acting on behalf of Trainer K Naidoo signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 11.2.8 in that he presented IRISH PEARL in the parade ring incorrectly equipped for this Race. Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was imposed. d) TO THE MAX (R Danielson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer N Roscoe acting on behalf of Trainer D Kannemeyer advised (DA). e) CAPRICCIO (S Veale), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P Gadsby advised (ML). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) CAPRICCIO was ridden by Jockey S Veale (advised 04.01.21/07h20). b) TO THE MAX was ridden by Jockey R Danielson (advised 04.01.21/07h52).
