THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FLORENCE (*J Gates) and ARRAN (*C F Dicken) were slow losing one length. b) RED GOLD MOON (S Brown) jumped outwards sharply leaving the stalls. c) LAGERTHA (C Murray) and SCOTTISH PRIMROSE (*P Mxoli) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, WEST OF SEATTLE (L Hewitson) and RED GOLD MOON (S Brown) which jumped out sharply, came together and bumped. b) Apprentice C F Dicken the rider of ARRAN accidentally dropped his crop at the 300m. c) Apprentice P Mxoli reported that SCOTTISH PRIMROSE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) LORD GRANTHAM (B Nyawo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Cason advised (RS).
