THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) GENTLEMAN'S WAGER (*J Jacobs) was hanging out between the 300m and the 200m. In view of the performance of GENTLEMAN'S WAGER (4.45 lengths, 57/20 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) RUN TO DENMARK (G Wright) shifted in away from the crop between the 300m and the 100m. c) Jockey S Veale reported that he felt something amiss with POLLARD (46.00 lengths) in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Trainers D Bosch (BORN TO PERFORM) and W A Nel (RUN TO DENMARK) will be advised that their respective runners failed to adequately parade and that should these horses behave similarly in future, they may be suspended. e) GALWAY (S Randolph), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Rivalland advised (SC). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) TOLTEC raced with a compression mask. b) SMART SOX was ridden by Jockey J Samuel (advised 06.01.21/08h27). c) TECHNO CAPTAIN Jockey S Moodley weighed out at 52.7kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight of 52kg.
