THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ODEN (R Munger) and EMERALD TIARA (L Hewitson) were slow into stride. b) KINGS ROAD (*J Gates) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performances of ODEN (R Munger) (betting 4/1, distance 7,00 lengths) and EMERALD TIARA (L Hewitson), (betting 5/1, distance 8,00 lengths), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. Trainers G Terzi and S G Tarry were requested to report back to the Board on the condition of these horses on return to stables. b) GODSWOOD (C Zackey) shifted out away from the crop at the 300m. c) GODSWOOD (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
