THE STARTER REPORTED: a) JANICE'S SECRET (AUS) (E Ngwane) and TO THE MAX (K de Melo) lost 1 length, respectively. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) WISHFUL GIRL LINN (W Kennedy), LEGEND HAS IT (A Mgudlwa) and SAN'S DANCER (*J Jacobs) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) HARPER'S DREAM (S Randolph) over-raced in the middle stages. c) SUPER FLUKE (D Dillon) raced to the front in the early stages and compounded in the straight. Thereafter, Jockey D Dillon reported that this filly did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Approaching the 200m, IRISH PEARL (*T Gumede) shifted out sharply away from the crop. e) LEGEND HAS IT (A Mgudlwa) was hanging in, in the concluding stages. f) Stable employee T Naidoo acting on behalf of Trainer K Naidoo signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 8.3.1, in that he failed to ensure that the owners colours were available for the horse IRISH PEARL. Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was imposed. g) WISHFUL GIRL LINN (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G B Puller advised (TN). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) JANICE'S SECRET (AUS) was ridden by Jockey E Ngwane and this mare raced equipped with blinkers (advised 03.02.21/08h16).
