THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) TWINS FALLS (L Mxothwa) over-raced in the early stages. B) BRANDINA (G Cheyne) over-raced in the early stages. Thereafter, the saddle on this filly slipped forward in the running, this was confirmed by the Course Veterinary Surgeon. C) At approximately the 150m, SECOND REQUEST (D R Lerena) shifted out away from the crop and had to be straightened. D) Jockey M V'Rensburg signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he struck the horse STAGE DANCE more than 12 times in the entire race. A penalty of a R1000 fine was imposed. E) The winner PRINCESS KALISI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer A C Greeff advised (LM).
