THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CHRISTMAS FLOWER (D Schwarz) refused to jump. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Stable Employee B Mngeni, acting on behalf of Trainer A G Laird, advised (GT). b) QUERARI FERRARI (J Gates) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of CHRISTMAS FLOWER (D Schwarz), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to CHRISTMAS FLOWER, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 10th February 2021 to the 16th February 2021. CHRISTMAS FLOWER may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Stable Employee B Mngeni, acting on behalf of Trainer A G Laird, advised. c) RIO'S WINTER (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
