THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) MOVE ON (S Moodley) was stubborn to load, jumped awkwardly and thereafter was slow into stride.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a) LADY COUP (A Mgudlwa), INDIGO MOON (D Dillon) and MYSTERY TRIP (L Hewitson) raced wide in the early stages.
b) At the 400m, DENISA (W Agrella) had to ease when awkwardly placed on the inside of MILLSY'S GIRL (S Randolph) which rolled in and MYSTERY TRIP (L Hewitson) which rolled out marginally.
c) At the 300m, MYSTERY TRIP (L Hewitson) was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the outside of LADY COUP (A Mgudlwa) which rolled out.
d) UMKHOMAZI (T Godden) was hanging out between the 300m and the 200m.
e) Jockey D Dillon (INDIGO MOON) dropped his crop at the 200m.
f) Jockey S Moodley reported that MOVE ON (16.80 lengths) did not stride out freely in the running. Assistant Trainer M Trott acting on behalf of Trainer S J Snaith was advised to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of this filly on return to stables.
g) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning WYLIE'S LASS, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 120 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer P M Gadsby was advised. (Suspension Dates : 11.02.2021 - 10.06.2021, bdi)
h) SPACE RACE (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Peter acting on behalf of Trainer P Peter advised (ML).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a) BURGADA raced with alumites in front, unshod behind (advised 04.02.21/11h59).
b) MY BIG VISION raced equipped with blinkers (advised 08.02.21/09h44).
c) WYLIE'S LASS raced with a compression mask.
d) DENISA raced with alumites (advised 04.02.21/11h59).
e) LADY COUP was ridden by Jockey E Ngwane and raced with a compression mask (advised 10.02.21/07h23).
RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER :

THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED :
a) MILLSY'S GIRL : Cut into left hind.
b) WYLIE'S LASS : Bi-lateral epistaxis, 2nd occurrence. Confirmed 120 days suspension.
