THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ICE DANCER (*N Klink) refused to load. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. b) During the loading process, MAMBO JUMBO (R Simons) kicked the back gates and got her left hind leg caught. This filly was removed from the stalls, examined by the Course Veterinary Surgeon and subsequently scratched after it was determined that she had been injured in this incident. c) GREENHILL (C Zackey) was slow losing one length. d) SIGNED AND SEALED (J Greyling), QUEEN NOOR (C Habib) jumped outwards leaving the stalls and COSMIC RAY (L Hewitson) and WILLOUWS ROSE (M Mjoka) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, JUST JUDY (L J Ferraris) and WILLOUWS ROSE (M Mjoka) came together and bumped when awkwardly placed between DALGETY BAY (P Strydom) which jumped inwards and QUEEN NOOR C Habib) which jumped outwards. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to ICE DANCER, this filly has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 14 February 2021 to 20 February 2021. ICE DANCER may not be presented for repassing during this period. Stable Employee F Naude acting on behalf of Trainer S Botha advised (GT). c) DALGETY BAY (P Strydom) hung in in the concluding stages. d) DIFFERENTIATE (*K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P F Matchett advised (LN). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) LEE EXPRESS raced with a pressure halter (declared 2 February 2021 at 10H30). b) COSMIC RAY raced with a compression mask on (declared 13 February 2021 at 07H50). c) QUEEN NOOR raced without ear muffs and with a tongue tie on (declared 13 February 2021 at 07H48).
