THE STARTER REPORTED A) CIANNA was nervous in the stalls. B) SAMARA was unruly and slow into stride. C) SWAZI QUEEN, ZETA JONES and RED RULES were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) ZETA JONES (L J Ferraris) over-raced in the early stages. B) Jockey L Mxothwa reported that LETS ROCK did not stride out freely in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. C) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning LETS ROCK (L Mxothwa), and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority for an indefinite period. In terms of Rule 49.7, a veterinary certificate for LETS ROCK must be submitted to the Veterinary Department of the National Horseracing Authority, before it can be entered for a race. LETS ROCK must also gallop for the NHRA veterinary department after which, if found fit to race, will be sent for specimen collection for analysis. Trainer J P Nel was advised. D) The winner ZETA JONES was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer S B Kotzen acting on behalf of Trainer G S Kotzen advised (LM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES A) SONG Jockey A Andrews replaced Jockey R Fourie (09:52 - 18/02/2021). B) TINTED VISION raced equipped with a compression mask (13:03 - 15/02/2021).
