THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BAMBOLEO (M Yeni) stumbled shortly after the start. b) COUNTRY MILE (G Lerena) and MAGIC CHOICE (L Hewitson) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) MY SUGAR BABY (R Simons), FLASH ROCK (*C F Dicken), ROLLAWAYTACKLER (W Kennedy) and SALUTE DE WINTER (C Maujean) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, LIL WAHOO (S Brown) and QUICK RUN (*J Solomons) came together and bumped on two occasions. b) MAGIC CHOICE (L Hewitson) hung out from the 400m. c) FLASH ROCK (*C F Dicken) shifted out away from the crop from the 300m. d) At approximately the 250m, ROLLAWAYTACKLER (W Kennedy) had to steady when awkwardly placed between SKY KINGDOM (P Strydom) which was carried out by QUICK RUN (*J Solomons) which rolled outwards and SALUTE DE WINTER (C Maujean). e) FLASH ROCK (*C F Dicken), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C I Jonker advised (GF). f) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning FLASH ROCK, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended from racing for a period of sixty days in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority.
