THE STARTER REPORTED A) SECOND REQUEST was slow into stride. B) MEERCAT was nervous in the stalls and jumped inwards leaving the stalls. C) CERELIA and WITH OUR BLESSING kicked the back gate in the stalls. D) ALASKAN FATE was stubborn loading. E) BEYOND TEMTATION was slow away and lost many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this filly is withdrawn. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) Shortly after the start, SECOND REQUEST (L Bester) and GLAD I AM (K Minnie) made contact when awkwardly placed between PURPLE AND GOLD (*Y Ramzan) which jumped outwards and MEERCAT (R Munger) which jumped inwards. B) In view of the Starter's report with regard to BEYOND TEMTATION (C Maujean), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable to jump on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 27 February 2021 to 05 March 2021 both days included. BEYOND TEMTATION may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Stable Employee G Venter acting on behalf of Trainer T J Laing was advised. C) The winner MAYFERN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer Z Oosthuizen advised (LM).
