THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RIO'S WINTER (R Munger) stumbled leaving the stalls. b) MAGIC SCHOOL (C Murray) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. c) DESTINYS GAME (W Kennedy) was slow losing one length. d) SHEER TALENT (J Penny) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 1000m, SEEHAAM (*J Solomons) was carried out marginally by MARY O (S Moodley), which shifted out. As a result of this, SEEHAAM (*J Solomons) raced wide around the turn. b) Apprentice J Solomons was questioned regarding his ride on SEEHAAM (*J Solomons) with particular reference to his ride around the turn. He explained to the Board that it was his intention, after jumping well, to sit 3 or 4 lengths off the pace, however into the first turn he ended up racing wide after being carried out. In order to correct this and sit closer to the fence, he was forced to sit back further in the field than he had intended. These actions resulted in him losing ground to the field. The Board noted the explanation of Apprentice J Solomons, which was corroborated by the patrol films. c) WYLIE WENCH (C Maujean) hung in from the 300m d) WYLIE WENCH (C Maujean), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Azzie advised (MdP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) QUERARI FERRARI raced with a compression mask (declared 23 February 2021 at 10H56).
