THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DANCING ARABIAN (R Simons) and LAST SONG (R Munger) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) GAL GADOT (S Khumalo) and MEENEERA (*K Matsunyane) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) LAST SONG (R Munger) raced fiercely in the early and middle stages. b) At approximately the 1000m, FATEOFTHEFURIOUS (C Habib) brushed the inside rail. c) GAL GADOT (S Khumalo) hung in from the 300m to 100m, thereafter GAL GADOT shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. d) ROSAPRIMA (S Brown), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D N Stenger advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) PARTY SONG raced with a tongue tie on (declared 26 February 2021 at 10H02) and equipped with blinkers (declared 26 February 2021 at 10H03). b) PARTY SONG raced in raced with club colours (black with a blue cap). Trainer S J Gray was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that he did not have available the registered colours of the owner/s of the horse PARTY SONG.
