THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ARCTIC PRINCESS (S Randolph) was restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) A race review, pertaining to ARCTIC PRINCESS (S Randolph) drawn in stall gate 7, was called into the start of this race. In this regard, it was established that as the start was effected, ARCTIC PRINCESS (S Randolph) became restless in the starting stalls and dislodged Jockey S Randolph whilst exiting the stalls. In reviewing this incident, the Board was of the view that ARCTIC PRINCESS (S Randolph) was not impeded by a handler nor by a faulty starting stall and that the above incident had occurred after the start was effected. Therefore, ARCTIC PRINCESS (S Randolph) was deemed to be a runner and no further action was taken. b) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning BLACK FERRARI (*S Njokwe) and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 120 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer M J Odendaal will be advised. (Suspension dates : 01 March 2021 to the 28 June 2021, bdi) c) Into the first turn, RAINBOW UNICORN (M Yeni) was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the inside of CASADORA (*G Pieterse) which rolled in. d) RAINBOW UNICORN (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
