THE STARTER REPORTED A) AMERICAN PRINCESS was stubborn loading, slow away and lost 3 lengths. B) DUCHESS OF BOURBON stood awkwardly in the stalls and lost many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this mare was withdrawn. C) CALANDRA was slow away and lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) AMERICAN PRINCESS (R Munger) refused to canter to the start and had to be led by a handler. Trainer A C Greeff was advised that should this filly behave similarly in future it may be suspended. B) In view of the Starter's report with regard to DUCHESS OF BOURBON (T Gould), this mare's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable to jump on terms. Suspension dates: 06 March 2021 to 12 March 2021 both days included. DUCHESS OF BOURBON may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer A C Greeff was advised. C) At the 350m, ENCRYPTION (L Mxothwa) was brushed on the hind quarters by CRUISE ALONG (M V'Rensburg) which tired and rolled in. Shortly thereafter ENCRYPTION (L Mxothwa) was awkwardly placed and was switched to the outside of WALLIS SIMPSON (G Cheyne) to continue its run. D) The winner WALLIS SIMPSON was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer A C Greeff advised (LM). THERE WERE NO JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER A) ENCRYPTION Jockey L Mxothwa carried 0.5 Kg overweight, weighed out at 52.5 Kgs.
