THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SAVANNAH ROCK (L Mxothwa) jumped slow, losing two lengths. b) GRANNY'S MOON (R Khathi) jumped awkwardly. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of WHISKEY TRIX (D Ashby) which raced green, gave ground to the field from the 600m and was not persevered with thereafter, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) Jockey G Cheyne, the rider of ARENDELLE, reported that this filly did not stride out freely in the running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine. c) JO LOVES (A Andrews) and BOLDLY GO (K de Melo) were hanging out from the 300m. d) In view of the performance of LA BANQUIERRE (A Domeyer) (Betting 3/1 : Distance 10.10) Trainer C Bass-Robinson will be requested to report back should she find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables. e) GRANNY'S MOON, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
