THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TALKTOTHESTARS (*X Jacobs) and LORD GRANTHAM (B Nyawo) were slow losing one length. b) RAMSAY (R Munger) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) RAMSAY (R Munger) was baulked for a clear run from the 400m to the 200m. b) RAMCHANDANI ROAD (W Kennedy) shifted out away from the crop from the 200m and was immediately straightened. c) Jockey L J Ferraris reported that MARS ROVER made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) Jockey B Nyawo reported that LORD GRANTHAM took no interest in running.
