THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TOTO (C Murray) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) TRATTORIA (L Hewitson) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) LAND OF RUBIES (*C F Dicken) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey P Strydom reported that he felt something amiss with LADY CALAVERA in running and did not persevere with his riding from the 350m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) Jockey S Khumalo reported that PECAN PIE changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) BOLD FORTUNE (R Simons), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer N Titise, acting on behalf of Trainer S T Pettigrew, advised (DR). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) ROSSO MEADOW: Apprentice K Matsunyane weighed out at 52,7kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) LADY CALAVERA raced with a pressure halter (declared 3 March 2021 at 13H18).
