THE STARTER REPORTED A) ABSOLUTELY FAB was slow away and lost 1 length. B) KATHERINE THE WOW was stubborn loading, reared as the start was effected and refused to jump. The starting stall certificate for this filly was withdrawn. C) JUST SO EASY was nervous in the stalls, slow away and lost 1 length. D) SHAHIDI was nervous in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) KATHERINE THE WOW (*Y Ramzan) was reluctant to canter to the start and had to be led by a handler. Trainer J V A Strydom was advised that should this filly behave similarly in future it may be suspended. Thereafter, as the start was effected KATHERINE THE WOW, in stall gate (2) became restless and refused to jump. In view of the Starter's report with regard to KATHERINE THE WOW (*Y Ramzan), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable to jump on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 13 March 2021 to 19 March 2021 both days included. KATHERINE THE WOW may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer J V A Strydom was advised. B) ABSOLUTELY FAB (L Bester) raced detached from the field throughout. C) The winner QUE COSAS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer A C Greeff advised (LM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES A) JUST SO EASY raced equipped with a compression mask (09:55 - 08/03/2021). B) KATHERINE THE WOW raced equipped with a tongue tie (07:58 - 12/03/2021). C) SHAHIDI raced equipped with a compression mask (10:56 - 08/03/2021). THERE WERE NO RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED A) EMERALD FLOE speedy cut right hind.
