THE STARTER REPORTED: a) VOLLUTO (*P Mxoli) was stubborn loading. b) FORGED BY FIRE (M Yeni) was stubborn loading and thereafter was slow losing one length. c) NOT YOUR CALL (L Hewitson) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. d) CAPEABLE (C Maujean) and GOLDEN ASPEN (J Sampson) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages, LOOK YOURSELF (*K Matsunyane), which raced green, shifted in and had to ease to avoid running onto the heels of BRONCO BLITZ (D Schwarz). b) Jockey L Hewitson reported the saddle on NOT YOUR CALL slipped backwards in running.
