THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NAMAQUA DOVE (K Sakayi) reared in the stalls, unloaded, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was withdrawn. b) IRON CHEF (*O Rusike) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Apprentice O Rusike (IRON CHEF) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride. b) SOWETO HALL (*T Gumede) made contact with QUENANZA (A Arries) and took an awkward stride shortly after the start. c) SOWETO HALL (*T Gumede) was switched to the outside of KILEIGH'S FATE (W Kennedy) for a clear run in the concluding stages. d) Jockey L Hewitson reported that he felt something amiss with INTOMBI (11.30 lengths) in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to NAMAQUA DOVE (K Sakayi), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 15.03.21 to the 21.03.21. NAMAQUA DOVE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer J Buckler will be advised.
