THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SHE'S A KEEPER (W Kennedy) was hanging in and shifted in from the 300m. b) Jockey R Munger reported that he felt something amiss with MAGNETIC DIME (distance) in the running and as a result he did not persevere with his ride. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Jockey L Hewitson reported that SIMPLY RUSSIAN (10.35 lengths) took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) An Inquiry will be opened in order to establish why FLASHY KAITRINA (M Yeni) had to ease at approximately the 1100m. e) Assistant Trainer I Burger acting on behalf of Trainer Gareth van Zyl signed an admission of guilt for the contravention of Rule 8.3.1, in that she failed to ensure that the owner's colours were available for the horse SHE'S A DREAMER. Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was imposed. f) SHE'S A KEEPER (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer I Burger acting on behalf of Trainer Gareth van Zyl advised (SC). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) FLASHY KAITRINA was ridden by Jockey M Yeni.
