THE STARTER REPORTED A) LATEST CRAZE was sow into stride. B) BEYOND TEMTATION and PRECIOUS STONE were slow away and lost 1 length respectively. C) LOOKOUT HOUSE was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) PRECIOUS STONE (C Habib) over-raced in the early stages. B) LOOKOUT HOUSE (M V'Rensburg) and WESTERN OASIS (J Gates) commenced to over-race in the middle stages. C) At approximately the 200m, LATEST CRAZE (*K Strydom) had to ease when awkwardly placed on the heels of LOOKS LIKE MAGIC (L J Ferraris) which was hanging in from the 300m, proving difficult to assist. Thereafter, Jockey L J Ferraris reported that he felt something amiss with LOOKS LIKE MAGIC in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Jockey L J Ferraris appeared before the Board and was advised to take more care when shifting ground in future. D) Jockey L Mxothwa reported that he felt something amiss with MOUSEY ON OVER in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. E) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning LOOKS LIKE MAGIC (L J Ferraris), and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer S B Kotzen was advised. F) The winner SELAILAI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer J P Nel advised (LM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES A) WESTERN OASIS Jockey J Gates replaced Jockey S Naidoo (09:21 - 19/03/2021). B) PRECIOUS STONE was ridden by Jockey C Habib (08:52 - 19/03/2021).
