THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PEACE DIAMOND (*J Solomons) jumped sharply outwards, dislodging the Rider. b) CHEVRON (*X Jacobs) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. c) FRENCH LEAVE (*P Mxoli), LIVERPOOL LEGEND (*N Klink) and MAZARI (R Munger) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, PEACE DIAMOND (*J Solomons) ducked out sharply, dislodging Apprentice J Solomons. This filly is suspended in terms of Rule 93.2.4 and until such time as she proves tractable jumping with a companion and racing away from the stalls on a race day. Trainer S G Tarry will be advised (LN). b) RABIA THE REBEL (M Mjoka) raced wide around the turn and into the straight. Thereafter, Jockey M Mjoka reported the saddle on RABIA THE REBEL slipped backwards in running. This was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon. c) Jockey X Jacobs, the rider of CHEVRON, accidentally dropped his crop at the 400m. d) At approximately the 300m, MAGIC VISION (M Yeni) was carried in by LIVERPOOL LEGEND (*N Klink), which hung in from the 400m. e) MIRREN (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Nieuwenhuizen advised (RS). Trainer D Nieuwenhuizen appeared before the Board and was questioned regarding the poor run from this filly on the 16th March 2021. He explained to the Board that in this race, she had raced exposed, without cover and had faded from the 400m. In today's race, she had raced with cover and finished the race off strongly. JOCKEY CHANGES: a) PICCADILLY SQUARE was ridden by Jockey S Khumalo (declared 26 March 2021 at 12H21). b) CHEVRON was ridden by Apprentice X Jacobs who claimed a 4kg allowance (declared 27 March 2021 at 07H36). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) PEACE DIAMOND raced with a compression mask (declared 27 March 2021 at 07H32). THE VETERINARY SURGEON HAD NO REPORTS. SCRATCHED: a) BLUE SPARK elevated temperature (Trainer) (Rule 53.5 applies). b) SENESCENCE under medication (Trainer) (Rule 53.5 applies). c) ANATURA Stipes permission (change in rating).
