THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ST PATRICK'S DAY (L Tarentaal) raced green on the bend. b) ROSE PRINCESS (G van Niekerk) shifted out continually in the straight. Jockey G van Niekerk appeared before the Board and was strongly advised that he needs to take the necessary corrective measures in order to keep his mounts on a straight course. c) Jockeys K de Melo and G Behr, the riders of ADIRA and SUNLIT PATH respectively, reported that these fillies did not stride out in the running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine d) ROSE PRINCESS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
