THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ROYAL MAZARIN (+J Gwingwizha), NICALEX (+T Baase) and DYNAVISION (+D Cooper) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 1800m, TECHNO SAVVY (+S Mosia) became unbalanced when bumped in by ROYAL MAZARIN (+J Gwingwizha), which was carried in by DYNAVISION (+D Cooper), which shifted in. b) Work Rider D Cooper was charged with for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that he, as the rider of DYNAVISION, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to ROYAL MAZARIN (+J Gwingwizha) and TECHNO SAVVY (+S Mosia) when he shifted in at the 1800m. Work Rider D Cooper signed an admission of guilt and was suspended from riding in one Work Rider's race (date of suspension: To be advised). c) At approximately the 600m, Work Rider S Tshobosa (UNCATCHABLE) lost the footing to his right side stirrup iron, which he only regained at the 400m. Thereafter, UNCATCHABLE (+S Tshobosa) shifted out sharply away from the crop and was immediately straightened. d) WALTZING AL (+C Mabaya) hung out from the 400m e) In view of the performance of TWIN TURBO (+T Matsoele), (distance 14,00 lengths, betting 41/20), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. f) TECHNO SAVVY (+S Mosia), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W H Marwing advised (AH). WORK RIDER CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) WALTZING AL raced with a compression mask (declared 29 March 2021 at 07H54). b) UNCATCHABLE is a gelding (Gelded 3 February 2021). Trainer P A Peter signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 10.5.6.1 in that he failed to notify the local office of the National Horseracing Authority within two (2) business days that UNCATCHABLE had been gelded. A fine of R250-00 was imposed. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) TWIN TURBO not striding out right hind. b) WALTZING AL cut in the mouth. c) DYNAVISION coughing. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS. DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: None.
