THE STARTER REPORTED: a) VICTORY VISION (C Storey) lost 2 lengths. b) FEARLESS KITTY (A Marcus) lost 3 lengths. c) OFFICIAL SECRET (K Sakayi) was stubborn to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, Apprentice T Gumede (SEA OF TRANQUILITY) briefly lost his right side stirrup iron. b) KALOOKI (*K Strydom) was hanging in throughout. c) OFFICIAL SECRET (K Sakayi) was hanging in from the 600m. d) At the 400m, ROCK ON PHILLY (W Kennedy) was brushed in and thereafter, MISS PUTIN (*J Jacobs) was brushed out by SEA OF TRANQUILITY (*T Gumede) which raced greenly in the running and hung out from the 600m. e) CIVIL RIGHTS (S Moodley) was hanging in between the 250m and the 150m.
