THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SANUK (*J Solomons) refused to jump. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Assistant Trainer S Mtwesi, acting on behalf of Trainer S G Tarry, advised (GT). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ZULU WAR CRY (R Simons) shifted out away from the crop from the 250m. b) MISS COSTA RICA (W Kennedy) shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. c) In view of the Starter's report with regard to SANUK, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 2nd April 2021 to the 8th April 2021. SANUK may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer S Mtwesi, acting on behalf of Trainer S G Tarry, advised d) MISS COSTA RICA (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P A Peter advised (LN). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) SALUTE DE WINTER raced equipped with alumites (declared 26 March 2021 at 10H17). b) ZULU WAR CRY raced with a tongue tie on (declared 1 April 2021 at 07H44). c) SANUK raced equipped with ear muffs (declared 1 April 2021 at 08H13). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) SANUK stall injury resulting in blood in the mouth; lame left fore; spread its left front shoe in running. SCRATCHED: a) ZODIAC PRINCESS ineligible, winner 25th March 2021, Vaal Racecourse. Advised 26 March 2021 at 07H17. b) QUEST FROM AFAR insufficient recovery time (Trainer) (Rule 53.5 applies).
