THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CAMPS BAY (G Cheyne) broke through the front gates, dislodged the rider and bolted the course, was withdrawn by the course veterinary surgeon, which resulted in a delay. b) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the report from the starter regarding CAMPS BAY (G Cheyne), this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as he proves to be tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 04/04/2021 to 10/04/2021 inclusive). CAMPS BAY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. b) In view of the performance of MATTHEW THE KING (K de Melo) (Betting 9/2 : Distance 6.05), which was hanging out throughout, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this colt. c) FIGHTER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
