THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) STORM CHASER (S Moodley) raced to the front in the early stages and compounded in the straight. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) SPEED MACHINE (R Fourie) switched out to continue its run at the 200m. c) SEEKING THE STARS (A Marcus) was hanging in, in the concluding stages. d) Jockey K de Melo reported that STONE COLD (8.60 lengths) changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) SEEKING THE STARS (A Marcus), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
