THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LADYOFMYLIFE (T Godden) was restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 300m, EMERALD ISLA (S Moodley) was carried out and LADYOFMYLIFE (T Godden) had to ease, when awkwardly placed on the outside of RAIN WEAR (S Randolph) which shifted off the heels of LOVE THE FLAG (K Sakayi) which rolled out. In assessing this incident the Board was of the view that, at the point when RAIN WEAR (S Randolph) initially moved to the outside of LOVE THE FLAG (K Sakayi) to secure its run, LOVE THE FLAG's (K Sakayi) roll out exacerbated the outward movement of RAIN WEAR. Therefore the Board elected not to charge Jockey S Randolph (RAIN WEAR) with a contravention of the Rules however, he appeared before the Board and was reminded of his obligations in races when shifting ground. b) In the concluding stages, EMERALD ISLA (S Moodley) had to ease when it attempted a narrow run on the inside of HIROSHIMA (M Yeni) which hung in from the 300m proving difficult to assist, changed legs at the 100m and shifted in. In view of this report, the Board will monitor the racing manners of HIROSHIMA moving forward. c) Jockey W Kennedy reported that he felt something amiss with RUBY SKY in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Trainers L Denysschen (DENISA) and M D Miller (DIAMONDS AND TOADS) will be advised that their respective runners failed to adequately parade and that should these horses behave similarly in future, they may be suspended. e) LAUREL LANE (L J Ferraris), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Howells advised (SC). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) DENISA was ridden by Jockey D De Gouveia (advised 11.04.2021/08h45). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
