THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start for all runners. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) An Inquiry will be opened in order to establish why BELL STARBUSTER (W Agrella) had to ease off heels at approximately the 1450m. b) LADY OF LUTETIA (W Kennedy) was baulked for a clear run between the 400m and 250m. c) Shortly before the finish, EMERALD ISLA (S Moodley) was carried out marginally by GLOBAL APPEAL (L Hewitson) which was hanging out from the 300m. A member of the Stipendiary Board called for a race review into this incident. However, after viewing the patrol films of the race and taking into consideration, in particular, the distance between these two horses (0.40 lengths) at the finish and the proximity of the incident to the finish, no further action was taken. d) Jockey R Munger reported that JANE BOND choked up in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) LADY OF LUTETIA (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P V Lafferty advised (SC). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) LADY OF LUTETIA was ridden by Jockey W Kennedy (advised 25.04.21/08h02) and raced with cheek pieces (advised 22.04.21/10h41). b) JANE BOND raced unshod (16.04.21/09h44). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) BELLS AND WHISTLES : Broke down left front fetlock. Euthanased on humane grounds. Blood samples were taken for analysis. Trainer D Campbell advised (GL). b) JANE BOND : Nothing obvious detected c) LOVE THE FLAG : Returned post-race having cast the right hind shoe. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS
