THE STARTER REPORTED A) BEND NOT BREAK (IRE) was slow away and lost 2 lengths. B) LADY IN WAITING was nervous and reared in the stalls. Trainer A C Greeff was advised to re-school this filly prior to its next engagement. C) TINTED VISION refused to load and was subsequently withdrawn by the Starter. The starting stall certificate for this filly is withdrawn. D) PEARL OF AFRICA and ROLLAWATACKLER were slow into stride. E) PEARL DANCER was stubborn loading and slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) At the 450m, a tiring ROLLAWAYTACKLER (M V'Rensburg) was awkwardly placed close to the heels of CIANNA (G Cheyne) which was directed outwards marginally to continue its run on the outside of SARAJEVO (C Maujean). B) Leaving the 400m, JUST JOYCE (T Gould) had to steady when racing tight between PEARL DANCER (K Steyn) and PEARL OF AFRICA (D R Lerena) which was hanging in. C) Leaving the 150m, PEARL DANCER (K Steyn) was awkwardly placed on the outside of BEND NOT BREAK (IRE) (L Hewitson) which was hanging out from the 200m. D) Jockey S Khathi reported that he felt something amiss with LADY IN WAITING in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. E) In view of the Starter's report with regard to TINTED VISION (S Naidoo), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 14 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading into the stalls. Suspension dates: 01 May 2021 to 14 May 2021 both days included. TINTED VISION may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer Z Oosthuizen was advised. F) The winner SARAJEVO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer J L Van Heerden advised (RJvR). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES A) WILD EARTH was ridden by G van Niekerk.
