THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CELTIC VISION (S Veale) became fractious in the stalls as the start was effected and lost many lengths. b) BECKONING BEAUTY (*K Brewer) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) A race review, pertaining to CELTIC VISION (S Veale) drawn in stall gate 8, was called into the start of this race. In this regard, it was established that, as the start was effected CELTIC VISION became fractious in the stalls, jumped awkwardly and lost many lengths. In reviewing this incident, the Board was of the view that, any distance lost by this filly was of a consequence of its own behaviour and therefore, no further action was taken and CELTIC VISION was deemed to be a runner. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to CELTIC VISION, this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 11.05.21 to the 17.05.21. CELTIC VISION may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer S Ferrie acting on behalf of Trainer D Drier was advised. (SN) c) DUCHESS OF SUSSEX (R Fourie) was hanging in, in the straight. d) DUCHESS OF SUSSEX (R Fourie) was brushed out by SUZI WOO (D Dillon) at the 150m. Thereafter, this filly raced in restricted room between SUZI WOO (D Dillon) and SATARA (*T Gumede) at the 50m. e) SWEET SPRING (R Danielson) was hanging in from the 300m. f) HER ROYAL MAJESTY (B Jacobson) shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. g) In the concluding stages, BECKONING BEAUTY (*K Brewer) and KILEIGH'S FATE (S Moodley) raced in close proximity and thereafter came together and brushed after the finish. A race review was called by Trainer L Goosen into this incident. However, after reviewing the patrol films of this race, no further action was taken. h) HER ROYAL MAJESTY (B Jacobson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
