THE STARTER REPORTED A) AGRADEMARMALADE was stubborn loading. B) FIRE AND FURY was stubborn loading and jumped outwards leaving the stalls. C) FIORENZA was slow away and lost 1 length. D) MARSH MARIGOLD was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) SENHOR DUKE (M V'Rensburg) over-raced in the early and middle stages. B) MARSH MARIGOLD (K Minnie) commenced to give ground to the field from the 400m. C) Jockey X Ndlovu reported that JET BOMBER took no interest in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer A C Greeff was requested to report back on the condition of this gelding on return to stables.
