THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey R Fourie, the rider of QUEEN'S CLUB, reported that this filly did not stride out freely in the running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) Jockey K de Melo, the rider of CRIMSON PRINCESS, reported that this filly made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine. c) Jockey O Noach, the rider of ALFRED'S GIRL, reported that he felt something amiss with this mare. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine. d) STARBOARD, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
