THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MARYGOLD (S Khumalo) stood losing five lengths. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. b) RIO'S WINTER (G Lerena) and IN THE DANCE (L Hewitson) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) WAY OF THE WORLD (W Kennedy) hung in from the 300m. b) Jockey G Lerena reported that RIO'S WINTER did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey L J Ferraris reported that CORDILLERA took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. d) In view of the Starter's report with regard to MARYGOLD, this filly has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 16 May 2021 to 22 May 2021. MARYGOLD may not be presented for repassing during this period.
