THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 1400m, FORT WYLIE (*J Syster) which was brushed out by PATRONAGE (S Moodley) which rolled out, was awkwardly placed on the inside by FLAMING FIRE (*K Strydom) which over-raced in the early stages, raced wide into the turn, to the lead at the 1200m and compounded in the straight. b) At the 300m, DUQUESNE WHISTLE (N Patel) was momentarily inconvenienced and CIRO (S Randolph) was carried out by MAXINE DU MONDE (*G Pieterse) which was hanging out from the 400m. Apprentice G Pieterse appeared before the Board with regard to this incident, was shown the patrol films of this Race and advised to take more care when shifting ground in races. c) Jockey L Hewitson reported that he felt something amiss with RIZZOLI in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning RIZZOLI, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer C Hewitson was advised. (Suspension Dates : 25.05.21 - 23.07.21, bdi) d) PATRONAGE (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M L Roberts advised (SC). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) FLAMING FIRE raced equipped with blinkers (advised 24.05.21/08h19). b) KASAI VELVET raced without blinkers (advised 24.05.21/08h19). c) THE SARACEN raced with alumites in front, unshod behind (advised 14.05.21/09h54). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) MAXINE DU MONDE : The ownership should read Mr M Dixon and the colours are green, red hoops, white sleeves, green and red hooped cap. (SWE - 21.05.21) THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) RIZZOLI : Bi-lateral epistaxis. Confirmed 60 days suspension. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS
