THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages, MAGIC CHOICE (L Hewitson) was carried in marginally by ALEX THE GREAT (G Lerena), which hung in from the 200m b) Jockey C Zackey reported that BELLE OF BELIZE took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) ALEX THE GREAT (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
