THE STARTER REPORTED: a) OYSTER KING (S Khumalo) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) SILVER MASTER (G Lerena) and ENTENTE (C Zackey) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FOREIGN FIELD (M Yeni) was reluctant to canter to the start and had to be led by a handler. Trainer P F Matchett will be advised that should this gelding behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended. b) ENTENTE (C Zackey) raced fiercely in the early stages, which resulted in this filly racing to the front of the field. c) Jockey G Lerena felt something amiss with SILVER MASTER at the 700m and eased this gelding out of the race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) In the concluding stages, STOP FOR NOTHING (C Maujean) shifted out sharply away from the crop. e) Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with ARCHER'S GIRL in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) INDLAMU (L Hewitson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer T Nako, acting on behalf of Trainer S G Tarry, advised (GF). g) SILVER MASTER (G Lerena), unplaced, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee D Monatisa, acting on behalf of Trainer B D Botes, advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) ENTENTE was ridden by Jockey C Zackey (declared 30 May 2021 at 09H09). b) ARCHER'S GIRL: Jockey K de Melo weighed out at 53,8kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. c) ENTENTE: Jockey C Zackey weighed out at 54,9kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) VITUS BEIRING raced with club colours.
