BLUSHING DIAMOND lost one length. LIVE MY DREAM was slow into stride. SAUCY BROAD was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer van Zyl was questioned with regard to the improved performance of this filly as compared to her run on 14 July 2019. Mr van Zyl explained that he had fitted a tongue tie to this filly on that occasion, which in his opinion this filly had resented. He stated this was borne out in the riders report that SAUCY BROAD had taken no interest in running. Today he removed the tongue tie and he intended to race this filly equipped in such a manner in future. His explanation was noted. LIVE MY DREAM over-raced in the early and middle stages. An inquiry will be held into Jockey Veale's use of the crop in the straight whilst riding ICE IMPERIAL. IMPERIAL SEAL raced with alumites. Scratched: DANCE TEAM - elevated temperature.
