THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KALOOKI (W Agrella) and CHEEKY CHIQUITA (R Munger) lost 1 length, respectively. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 1400m, SEA EAGLE (S Veale) was carried in by FEDERICA (K Sakayi) which rolled in and was immediately straightened. b) QUITO (M Yeni) was hanging out between the 1200m and 800m. Thereafter, this filly compounded in the straight. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) SEA OF TRANQUILITY (L Ferraris) raced wide into the first turn. d) KALOOKI (W Agrella) shifted in to continue its run at the 300m. e) In the concluding stages, LAZULI (W Kennedy) was carried out marginally by SEA EAGLE (S Veale) which shifted out away from the crop. Thereafter, LAZULI (W Kennedy) was awkwardly placed on the heels of SEA EAGLE (S Veale) and as a consequence, Jockey W Kennedy was unable to fully assist his mount to the end of the race. f) GLOBAL SECRET (D Dillon) shifted out away from the crop between the 200m and 100m. + g) In view of the performance of CHEEKY CHIQUITA (R Munger) (35.05 lengths, 50/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. h) OFFICIAL SECRET (L Hewitson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G S Kotzen advised (DA). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) CASSOWARY raced with alumites (advised 01.06.21/10h30). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
