THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BLUE PLANET (R Fourie) and BAYVIEW EXPRESS (S Moodley) were difficult and stubborn to load. Trainers C Hewitson and Y Govender will be advised to re-school their respective geldings. b) TROMSO (K de Melo) was restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ADMIRAL'S GUEST (*K Strydom) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) CONGO COMPAQ (R Munger) was baulked for a clear run from the 300m, when awkwardly placed on the heels of MR GONZALES (*J Jacobs) which led the field at the 300m and subsequently compounded. In view of this report pertaining to MR GONZALES (*J Jacobs), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) At the 250m, MASTER TOBE (A Arries) shifted out away from the crop. d) In the concluding stages, Jockey R Fourie's (BLUE PLANET) arm was brushed by Jockey W Agrella's (THE BAYOU) crop when both these horses were racing in close proximity. e) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning MR GONZALES (*J Jacobs), and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer P B Muscutt will be advised. (Suspension dates : 17.06.21 -15.08.21, bdi) f) SPRING HIGH (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Drier advised (ML). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) SPRING HIGH was ridden by Jockey S Veale (advised 16.06.21/07h54). b) ADMIRAL'S GUEST raced with alumites (advised 10.06.21/11h22). c) BLUE PLANET raced with a compression mask. d) MASTER TOBE raced with cheek pieces (advised 14.06.21/15h17). e) TEICHMAN was ridden by Jockey C Zackey. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) BAYVIEW EXPRESS : Ownership should read:- Messrs D P Pillay, K M Chetty, Y Naidoo & Mrs D Naidoo and the colours are purple, silver stars, halved sleeves, purple cap (SWE - 14.06.21).
