THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DRIVING MISS DAISY (O Noach) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. b) ANSE LAZIO (AUS) (G van Niekerk) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 450m MAJESTIC MOZART (G Cheyne) was momentarily eased when awkwardly placed close to the heels of LOVE HAPPENS (R Khathi). b) Between the 150m and the 100m ANSE LAZIO (AUS) (G van Niekerk) and HUDOO MAGIC (AUS) (L Mxothwa) brushed for a number of strides. c) ANSE LAZIO (AUS), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
