THE STARTER REPORTED: a) QUICK RUN (*X Jacobs) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) SPANISH SONG (M Yeni) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Apprentice P Mxoli reported that ALMALFI COAST (5,25 lengths) changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) SPANISH SONG (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S Moffatt advised (AH). c) QUICK RUN (*X Jacobs), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S M Naidoo advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) MAJOR COUP was ridden by Apprentice C F Dicken who claimed a 1,5kg allowance (declared 24 June 2021 at 09H05). Permission was granted for the change as Jockey S Khumalo experienced flight complications returning from KwaZulu-Natal after riding in the July gallops.
